Andriana is a researcher in User Experience (UX) and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), with strong analytical and communication skills and experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. With a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction and work in industry, she has experience in leading research projects, working with diverse stakeholders and translating research into actionable, user-centered solutions.
Throughout her career, Andriana has worked with a variety of research methods including ethnography, interviews, focus groups, co-design workshops, diary studies, surveys and hypothesis testing experiments. She has particular experience in research relating to communication technologies, interaction with autonomous agents, workplace technologies, human-robot interaction and accessibility.
Andriana has published at some of the top Human-Computer Interaction conferences, including ACM’s CHI, HRI and CSCW and has led several multi-disciplinary workshops, which brought together researchers and industry professionals from multiple countries to discuss emerging research.
Her PhD was supervised by Prof. Joel Fischer, Dr. Stuart Reeves and Dr. Sean Rintel and funded by the UKRI EPSRC and Microsoft Research.
In 2023 she received the UKRI Trustworthy Autonomous Systems (TAS) Hub’s Early Career Researcher Award.
